JD Lawrence in black suit

JD Lawrence

With over 22 years of experience, JD Lawrence is known for his diligent approach to client representation, always striving to help individuals navigate the legal system and secure fair compensation for their injuries.

Before joining Turnbull, Moak & Pendergrass, JD spent 10 years at another plaintiffs' firm, where he honed his skills in personal injury and complex litigation. During this time, he gained invaluable experience advocating for injured clients and achieving successful outcomes. Additionally, JD served as a law clerk for the Honorable N. Daniel Rogers, Circuit Court Judge for Jefferson County, Alabama, where he gained insight into the inner workings of the judicial system. This combination of hands-on experience and legal insight has shaped JD into a tenacious advocate for his clients.

JD is a proud member of The Alabama Bar Association and the Alabama Association for Justice. Outside of his practice, he lives in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, with his wife Karla, daughter Emma Kate, and son John Karter. Passionate about justice, JD is committed to holding individuals and insurance companies accountable for their actions, particularly when it comes to protecting the rights of those who have been harmed.
