Ben Brown
Ben is an accomplished attorney at Turnbull, Moak & Pendergrass, where he represents clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters. He has valuable experience handling complex matters in both state and federal courts. Known for his thorough preparation and legal analysis, Ben is dedicated to delivering effective advocacy and personalized legal solutions for his clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben spent the first four years of his career at a preeminent defense litigation firm, where he represented clients across the nation. There, he gained valuable experience in handling a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and business dispute cases, among others. Ben's ability to assess intricate legal issues and develop strategic solutions makes him a trusted advisor and advocate. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Ben's path to the legal field is unique. Before going to law school, Ben graduated from Auburn University with a civil engineering degree. He then worked in construction management for a general contractor in Birmingham, where he oversaw large projects as a project manager. Ben left construction management practice and pursued his J.D. at Cumberland School of Law. While at law school, Ben was top of his class for courses in contracts, advanced evidence, depositions, and criminal law. He also served as a Board Member for the Cumberland Law Review.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys golfing, fishing, and skiing. He also loves spending time outdoors in his hometown of Birmingham with his wife, Allie, and their dog, Mabel.
